SRW GT Open – Silverstone 15/05/2013

Siamo al 2° appuntamento del Campionato GT OPEN by SRW, si vola in Inghilterra nel famosissimo circuito di Silverstone! Seconda pole position consecutiva per il nostro Alex Piccolo che dimostra nuovamente il suo talento anche in questo circuito. Pole position e vincitore di entrambe le manche, fanno prendere il lungo e il largo nella classifica piloti! Ottima anche la prestazione di Masciulli che conclude 3° in entrambe le manche. Classifica costruttori che momentaneamente vede la Pescara UEIN prima in classifica a 50 punti di distacco dal Team capitanato da Marco Fiore (Heavy Bulls Motorsport). Passiamo ora alle parole del TM Danese che ha rilasciato la sua dichiarazione subito dopo la gara: “Alex è un pilota eccezionale! Vederlo alla guida è una sensazione stupenda! Fin ora ha vinto 3 gare su 4, ha ottenuto 4 giri veloci e 2 pole position! Diciamo quasi l’amplein! Il TEAM è fortissimo, Alex ed Eros formano una grande coppia sulle ruote coperte! Credo siano quasi inarrestabili!

SRZ GT – Sebring 16/05/2013

Terzultimo appuntamento per il Campionato Italiano GT by simracingzone.net, siamo negli Stati Uniti di America nel circuito di Sebring. Sarebbe dovuta essere una gara importante per i Driver del Team Black Pescara UEIN, ma la sfortuna becca Nicola Gazzilli, che improvvisamente il suo PC decide di riavviarsi durante le prime fasi di gara! Fabio Fontana compagno di squadra di Nicola, mentre, è costretto al ritiro dopo aver danneggiato gravemente la sua macchina, forse la poca preparazione per questo GP ha portato Fabio a commettere questi stupidi e piccoli errori! Nel Team White mentre, dopo l’esclusione del pilota Ranzini, bannato per aver commesso dei tagli nello scorso GP di Monza, scende in pista in sostuzione di Danese il Sim Driver Ciro Trani, chi si dimostra molto maturo e riesce a concludere i suoi 90 minuti con dignità, classificandosi in 9° posizione! Ora mancano solo 2 gare alla fine, i giochi sono ancora aperti sia nel costruttori che nel piloti! Fiducia e determinazione sicuramente non devono mancare per tentare l’impresa! Il Campionato rF3 torna nel deserto del Bahrain! Pescara UEIN che dominò la scorsa edizione con Nicola Gazzili e Kristian Francesconi protagonisti di una strabiliante Campionato, sembrano non avere più la motivazione e la determinazione che avevano nell’anno precedente! Saranno forse i duri impegni lavorativi che costringono si nostri Sim Driver allo scarso allenamento! Dispiaciuti i TM Danese e Masciulli che dichiarano: “Pensavamo che in questo Campionato, dati i risultati ottenuti nello scorso anno, di stare tranquillamente nelle prime posizioni! Ed invece NO! Sicuramente Nicola e Kristian si stanno allenando davvero pochissimo rispetto all’anno scorso! Purtoppo per poter vincere bisogna dedicare molto tempo agli allenamenti! Non siamo arrabbiati, ma sicuramente le cose dovranno cambiare dalle prossime volte! Rispetto per gli avversari che si stanno dimostrando velocissimi in pista! Ma noi siam sicuri che non siamo da meno!”

TRS F12013 – Canada 08/05/2013

Siamo giunti al 6° Round del Campionato F1 by TRS, si vola in Canada nel circuito di Montreal, con la Pescara UEIN pronta a confermare il dominio in questo Campionato. Scende per la prima volta in pista David Greco (Skizzato) che riesce dopo una sfortunata partenza a rimontare fino alla 3° posizione. Ottima la prova di Eros Masciulli che vince questo 6° round confermando la prima posizione in classifica, riusciendo a prendere punti importanti dal Greco “Giorgos Prevezanos”. Kristian Francesconi, dopo aver ottenuto la pole position, è stato costretto al ritiro causa rottura del motore. Ottima anche la prestazione dei 2 scudieri “Ciro Trani e Luca Furia” che concludono la gara nelle rispettive 7° e 9° posizione! Prossima gara nel circuito Inglese di Silvestone il 29 Maggio 2013! SRW GT Open – Monza 29/04/2013

Avvio tribolato quello del nuovissimo campionato GT targato S.RW: il GT Open 2013!  In una “affollattissma” Monza, le premesse di vedere 35 auto di due categorie diverse (GT2 e GT3) lasciavano presagire spettacolo e battaglie in entrambe le classi e così è stato, anche se i continui crash di alcuni utenti hanno reso la serata dello staff (e degli utenti) decisamente impegnativa e, a tratti, frustrante.
Gara 1, quella “corta” da 30 minuti, ha visto subito il crash del poleman Gianluca De Matteo, che ha così lasciato via libera al nostro Alex Piccolo, il quale si è involato indisturbato fino alla bandiera a scacchi. Dietro di lui, invece, la gara è stata sicuramente più movimentata, con Paolo Taddeolini che è risalito dalla settima posizione di partenza fino alla seconda ma, quando questa pareva ormai consolidata, una incomprensione con Fabio Contini, pilota Ferrari GT3, alla seconda di Lesmo, lo ha fatto retrocedere in quinta posizione, passato anche da Eros Masciulli, bravissimo a completare la doppietta in Pescara UEIN, dal compagno Marco Fiore, come sempre consistente e determinato a risalire dalla decima posizione di partenza, e Federico Fistarol, buon quarto ma forse un pelo al di sotto delle attese in lui riposte.

Gara 2, con la griglia invertita per i primi 10 di Gara 1, indipendentemente dalla classe di appartenenza, e della durata di 45 minuti, ha visto parzialmente risolti i problemi di crash che hanno afflitto così tanti simdrivers nella manche ma purtroppo, fra quelli che non hanno avuto fortuna, vi è stato ancora una volta Gianluca De Matteo, subito fuori durante il giro di lancio, così come Eros Masciulli ed Alberto Fornasiero, mentre il gruppone di piloti si avviava alla partenza lanciata guidato dal duo del Playboy Team, Mario Mazzelli e Dennis Grassi, a bordo delle loro BMW M3 GT2.

Fin dai primi metri effettivi di gara è emerso come protagonista Paolo Taddeolini che, subito alla prima staccata, è andato all’attacco per accodarsi al duo di testa, seguito a pochi metri di distanza dal figlio Diego, anche lui su Aston Martin Vantage V8.

Ben presto la “famiglia da corsa” ha dato spettacolo, sia con battaglie tra loro sia con gli altri diretti avversari, fino a quando entrambi si sono issati, dopo aver passato un coriaceo Mazzelli, in prima posizione con Paolo ed in seconda con Diego. Un occhio di riguardo va anche ad Alex Piccolo e Marco Fiore (protagonisti anche di un contatto in prima variante al 2° giro, in cui il forte pilota palermitano ha avuto la peggio), che hanno rimontato piuttosto velocemente manifestando un ottimo passo ed una grande determinazione.

Con la fuga di Paolo Taddeolini in pieno svoglimento, Alex Piccolo ha passato Diego alla Parabolica beneficiando di un errore del giovane pilota dei Busters e, forte di un passo leggermetne migliore, ha cercato di andare a riprendere il pilota Heavy Bulls Motorsport che però, da par suo, ha risposto sempre ai temponi del campione del Pescara UEIN, andando così a precederlo sul traguardo di circa 1″7 secondi, con il terzo gradino del podio andato, come in Gara 1, a Marco Fiore, che a sua volta ha passato Diego Taddeolini a seguito di un altro suo errore nel finale di manche, in cui è poi terminato solo settimo.

Prossimo round sul circuito di Silverstone, dove lo staff avrà già posto rimedio per la risoluzione definitiva dei problemi di crash emersi a Monza, comunque non imputabili ad un difetto del mod ma solo alla sua “pesantezza” grafica, che verrà trasmesso, come sempre, in diretta HD grazie al supporto di SimRace.TV.

Pescara UEIN che scenderà in pista con la coppia formata dal Team Manager Masciulli e dal neo acquisto Alex Piccolo per la prima volta in Pescara UEIN. Andera Danese “Team Manager” annuncia: “Questo campionato GT di SRW si preannuncia davvero interessante! Non conosco tutti gli avversari, ne conosco solo alcuni come ad esempio Fiore, Taddeolini, Grassi, Mazzelli e Mazzatenta! Sono curioso di vedere cosa combineranno Masciulli ed Alex in questo Campionato. Eros è un pilota espertissimo, ha alle sue spalle più di 400 gare su rFactor! Alex non è da meno, anzi, pilota velocissimo, costante e il suo obiettivo è sempre lo stesso: Vincere!  Ringrazio gli admin del portale per averci permesso di iscriverci in extremis.

IROn F1 – Interlagos 22/04/2013

Penultima tappa del Campionato IRON F1 in brasile nel circuito di Interlagos, Pescara UEIN che vince il titolo costruttori e piloti con la nostra punta di diamante Michael Francesconi che per il secondo anno consecutivo si aggiudica il titolo. Ennesima doppietta per la coppia formata da Francesconi e Gazzilli che tagliano il traguardo nella corrispettiva seconda e prima posizione. Tanta soddisfazione all’interno del TEAM per il titolo appena conquistato. Dominio assoluto fin dall’inzio del Campionato, 4 doppiette conquistate durante le gare e la soddisfazione di arrivare avanti alla BBR che era iscritta al Campionato con 2 grandi piloti di punta (Elio Galia – Davide Gabrielli).

Passiamo ora la parola al nostro campione in carica Michael Francesconi, che per la seconda volta consecutiva vince il campionato F1 by IRON: Sono davvero soddisfatto! In questa gara la macchina non era perfetta, ma mi ha permesso di ottenere ciò che volevo, IL 2° TITOLO PILOTI CONSECUTIVO! Per me è una grandissima soddisfazione, visto che questo è il campionato dove sono cresciuto!!! Ringrazio il mio compagno di team Nicola Gazzilli, per l impegno e l’aiuto che mi ha dato durante tutto l’anno! Abbiamo ottenuto il massimo vincendo anche il titolo costruttori e un 3° posto finale di Nicola!! Ovviamente il prossimo anno intendo inscrivermi di nuovo per cercare il 3° titolo!!”

Passiamo ora a Nicola Gazzilli che dichiara: “Primo campionato per me su una Formula 1. Un campionato ricco di colpi di scena. Nella prima fase non andavo abbastanza per reggere il passo dei primi, causa anche del poco allenamento che sostenevo, passata la prima fase di campionato mi sono trovato abbastanza bene grazie anche il supporto del mio compagno di squadra Michael. Nonostante la sfortuna mi abbia perseguitato, ho ottenuto una buona striscia positiva di risultati. Terzo posto che mi soddisffa anche se forse, potevo conquistare la seconda posizione. Complimenti a Michael sempre velocissimo, campione meritatamente! Un grazie anche a lui e al mio team che mi sono stati sempre vicini“

SRZ GT – Monza 25/04/2013

5° appuntamento stagionale per il Campionato Italiano GT by simracingzone. Siamo in Italia sullo storico e velocissimo Autodromo Internazionale di Monza. Gara favolosa per il nostro Sim Driver Nicola Gazzilli che conferma il suo andamento positivo in questo campionato con una fantastica vittoria! Ottima anche la gara del giovanissimo Giacomo Ranzini che dopo avere scontato uno stop & go, riesce con un’eccezionale rimonta a salire sul gradino più basso del podio prendendo la 3° posizione! Peccato per la gara di Fabio Fontana, costretto al ritiro dopo che il motore Mercedes l’ha abbandonato! Nota di merito anche a Ciro Tran in sostituzione del TM Danese, alla prima esperienza con una MOD GT, riesce a concludere la gara in 11° posizione!

5th round of the Italian GT Championship by simracingzone. We are in Italy on the historical and fast racetrack of  Monza. Race fabulous for our Sim Driver Nicola Gazzilli that confirms its positive trend this season with a fantastic win! Also good race the young Giacomo Ranzini that after serving a stop & go, fails with an outstanding comeback to get on the lowest rung of the podium taking 3rd place! Too bad for the race of Fabio Fontana, forced to retire after the engine Mercedes has forsaken him! Note of thanks also to Ciro Trani in place of TM Danese, the first experience with a MOD GT, unable to finish the race in 11th place!

Passiamo ora alle dichiarazioni post gara del Sim Driver Ranzini che dichiara: “Partito ultimo e sconto lo stopandgo! Inizio a rimontare furiosamente e faccio tanti  giri veloci. Ho fatto un’ora di gara guidando da qualifica recuperando nell’arco della gara 40 secondi sul gruppo di testa. Con una MOD dove è difficile sorpassare sono riuscito a fare molti sorpassi e all’ultimo giro sono riuscito a passare Pagoto che era appena uscito dai box. Un terzo posto che spero sia la fine di un periodo difficile nel Sim Racing poichè non riuscivo più a concentrarmi al 110% commettendo molti errori data la mia guida sempre al limite.”

Buona la prestazione di Ranzini! Passiamo ora a Ciro Trani che ci racconta la prima esperienza sopra una GT: “Posso solo essere soddisfatto della mia prestazione! Sapevo di non essere veloce in quanto questa, è stata la mia prima esperienza con una MOD a ruote coperte! Concludo la mia gara in 11° posizione, altro non potevo chiedere! Ringrazio il team per avermi permesso di correre!”

SRZ RF3 – Nurburgring 26/04/2013

2° Round per il Campionato Italiano rF3 nel circuito Tedesco del Nurburgring. Campionato iniziato in salita per i Sim Driver della Pescara UEIN! Buona la prima metà della gara con Genazzi in 3° posizione Francesconi in 4° e Gazzilli in 5° posizione. Meteo variabile che entra in azione al decimo giro, pioggia che arriva al 15% di consistenza, sosta costretta per tutti i Sim Driver, ma Gazzilli decide di rimanere in pista, strategia che non porta risultati positivi in quanto la pioggia continua a scendere e costringe Gazzilli dopo un paio di giri effettuati in più, a rientrare nei box per il cambio gomme. Pioggia che viene, pioggia che se ne và! La gara finisce con un meteo soleggiato, con Genazzi che conclude in 4° posizione, Francesconi in 5° e Gazzilli in 7° posizione! Sottotono Alessandro Prosperi, che sbaglia il cambio gomme e conclude la sua gara nelle retrovie.

Round 2 for the Italian Championship RF3 in the German circuit of Nurburgring. Championship started uphill for Sims Driver Pescara UEIN! Good first half of the race in 3rd position with Genazzi Francesconi in 4th and 5th position in Gazzilli. Weather variable that comes into play on lap ten, rain arriving at 15% consistency, forced to stop all Sim Driver, but Gazzilli decides to stay on track, a strategy that does not bring positive results as the rain continues to fall and forces Gazzilli after a couple of laps more, to return to the pits to change tires. Rain is coming, rain is gone! The race ends with a sunny weather, with Genazzi that ends in 4th position, Francesconi in 5th and 7th position in Gazzilli! Undertone Alessandro Prosperi, who missed the tire change and concludes his race in the rear.

Alex Piccolo è un nuovo pilota della Pescara UEIN

Dopo il giovane Genazzi, la Pescara UEIN è inarrestabile sul mercato piloti! Ormai è arrivata l’ufficialità della firma che legherà il Sim Driver Italiano Alex Piccolo (classe 80′) al Team Pescarese.

Piccolo oltre che essere un Simdriver di grande rilievo, è stato ed è un importante pilota reale. Il veneto sin da ragazzino ha una grande passione per i motori, che lo porta a competere lì dove tutti i grandi piloti hanno avuto il proprio battesimo: il karting. Comincia nel 1995 per poi passare in monoposto nel 2000 e in questi 5 anni spiccano senza dubbio il suo 3° posto nel Five Continents Cup 100cc (alle spalle di Liuzzi e davanti Paffett) e il suo 2° posto nell’ICA 1997 (europeo karting) dove ha affrontato avversari del calibro di Fernando Alonso.
Nel 2000 Piccolo compie il salto dal kart alle monoposto, prendendo parte al Formula Renault Italia terminando 4° a pochissimi punti dal titolo vinto da Felipe Massa e con altri grandi nomi che terminano alle suo spalle, tra i quali spiccano Farfus, Winkelhock, Briscoe, D’Aste e Toninelli. Gareggiò anche nel campionato Euro Formula 3000 tra il 2001 e il 2002, affermandosi con una vittoria, due pole position e cinque podi su 17 gare. Piccolo successivamente prese parte all’ Internarional Series della Formula 3000 (l’attuale gP2, con al via tra gli altri Pantano, Liuzzi, Friesacher, Kiesa e Baumgartner), dove è stato inizialmente reclutato dal team “BCN Competicion” per sostituire il connazionale Valerio Scassellati. Dopo la prima gara ebbe un bruttissimo incidente nella curva “Casinò” nel Circuito di Monaco, dove riportò danni alle vertebre che lo hanno messo fuori per gran parte della stagione. Dopo aver recuperato dall’infortunio tornò in pista per il finale di stagione a Monza, terminando la gara al 11 ° posizione.

After recovering from the injury he returned to the track for the season finale at Monza, finishing the race in 11th position.

Nel 2008 partecipò  all’ International GT Open con il team Villois Racing a bordo della Aston Martin GT3, portanto a casa la 2° posizione nella classifica costruttori insieme al suo compagno di squadra Wiser.

- Alex, si sta parlando molto di questo tuo trasferimento alla Pescara UEIN, arrivato un po’ a sorpresa…quando hai maturato questa decisione?!
La decisione è maturata qualche mese fà, verso il finale del campionato Endurance su Sim-racin.org.

- Hai avuto un motivo specifico per lasciare la Witchwood?!
Sentivo di aver bisogno di nuovi stimoli dopo molti anni nello stesso team! Quindi ho deciso di cambiare colori!!! anche se non è stato facile…

- Sta per iniziare una nuova avventura per te, come mai hai scelto di gareggiare con la Pescara UEIN, e quali sono stati i motivi che ti hanno spinto a tale scelta?!
Quando ho preso la decisione è stata determinate l’amicizia con Andrea Danese, era la più logica!! Dò molta importanza al fattore umano, ma a parte questo è un team molto giovane e competitivo, rispecchia al 100% quello che cercavo!!

- Hai passato diversi anni nel Team Witchwood, quali sono i tuoi ricordi più belli di questo periodo e quali invece vorresti cancellare?!
In Witchwood ho iniziato la mia “carriera” di simdriver. Non sapevo nulla di questo sport!! A loro devo tutto quello che sono oggi! I ricordi devo dire sono tutti molto belli, tante vittorie e prestazioni al vertice sopratutto in campo Internazionale!!

- Pensi sia possibile far iscrivere la Pescara UEIN in qualche Campionato Endurance?!
Penso sia possibile, vedo tanta partecipazione e passione!!! L’idea stuzzica già quindi per il futuro non vedo problemi.

- Cosa ti aspetti dal tuo nuovo Team e che risultati vuoi ottenere per i prossimi Campionati?!
Mi aspetto un grande lavoro di squadra e puntare a vincere tutte le gare! Anche se magari non sarà sempre possibile, è questo il mio obbiettivo ogni volta che scenderò in pista!!!

When I took the decision was certain friendship with Andrea Danese, it was the most logical! I give a lot of importance to the human factor, but apart from that it is a very young team and competitive, reflects 100% what I was looking for!
- You spent several years in the Team Witchwood, what are your best memories of this period and which ones you want to cancel?!
In Witchwood I started my “career” simdriver. I did not know anything about the sport! To them I owe everything I am today! The memories I have to say they are all very beautiful, so many victories and top performance especially in the international field!
- Do you think it is possible to enroll in the Pescara UEIN some Endurance Championship?!
I think it’s possible, I see so much participation and passion! The idea already teases then I see no problems for the future.
- What do you expect from your new team and what results you want to achieve for the next championship?!
I expect a great team effort and aim to win all the races! Although maybe it’s not always possible, this is my goal every time I take to the track!
